My English BFF Decaf is decaffeinated using a Canadian Chemical Free CO₂ Process, developed in partnership with tea manufacturers and Canadian food scientists.
The process removes the caffeine without using chemicals of any sort. The finished tea is briefly soaked in exceptionally pure water and then gently flushed with CO₂, which binds to the caffeine molecules and extracts them from the tea. This leaves behind all the natural proteins that give tea its flavour, and many of the natural polyphenols and antioxidants remain intact.
