That’s what I posted on Facebook today, because I know I’m not the only one out there who has trouble relaxing, slowing my mind down (there’s no “off” switch up in here), and trying to chill out.

We all seem to be struggling with finding more calm amidst the overwhelm.

I know this because customers are always asking me to recommend tea that can help with stress and anxiety, so they can relax and get a decent night’s sleep.

That was the inspiration for my new blend, SAVASANA.

If you’ve never done yoga, you’re probably wondering (just like my Mom did…many, many times), what the hell does Savasana mean?!  😂 

Savasana is pronounced (shah-VAH-sah-nah), but you can just say it the way it’s spelled, which is what I usually do.

It’s the final resting pose at the end of every yoga class, and it’s called the corpse pose. I know. It sounds really creepy, but let me explain…

Savasana is a practice of gradually relaxing one body part at a time, one muscle at a time, and one thought at a time. It conditions the body to release stress and can improve your sense of physical and emotional well-being.

It’s my absolute favourite part of yoga. And while I’m far from being a yogi, I do know when something totally relaxes me. And this does.

So that was the exact feeling I tried to emulate with my new tea.
